What is Fetish Play? You and a partner play roles, and act out a scene, like a movie scene, where one of you is powerful and controlling and the other must obey. It’s OK to try both roles. Don’t giggle! It’s more fun to act it out seriously.
• You’re a Submissive if you’d rather be a victim than a vampire. Act desperately eager to please and avoid punishment. Your entire world and survival is pleasing your dominant. Be docile, lower your eyes, and do nothing until commanded. When commanded, obey instantly and show respect with the name “Sir”, “Master”, or “Mistress”. Your dominant “owns” you and may punish you if you misbehave.
• You’re a Dominant if you want a “vampire” mindset -- act powerful and threatening. Dehumanize your sub. Constantly remind the sub that you’re in control. Harshly comment on their appearance and actions. Command them in every action. Punish them. Just like leading a partner in ballroom dancing, be a leader. It gets boring if you don’t lead the action constantly. Although you are pretending to be in control, in real life it’s essential to know and respect the sub’s boundaries. Make it fun for them to serve you!
The Party Game
1. Get a name badge. You can play yourself, or play a character. Check off “Dom”, “Sub”, or “Either”.
2. Grab some Idea Cards. Pick whatever seems fun. Take as many as you want and keep them all night.
3. Present an Idea Card to someone. If you’re a dom, find a sub. If you’re a sub, find a dom.
4. Negotiate. What does the dom have in mind? What are the sub’s limits? What’s sexy and comfortable?
5. They either: • Reject your card politely. Be a good sport. • Accept your card, Level 1. No touching!
• Accept your card, Level 2. You may touch but No Groping.
6. Yes? Act out the card. Be loud and cause a scene! Get people to say, “Wow, that’s hot! I should try that!”
7. Need ideas? Ask a Judge. Judges may award flirt points or make nominations for the best scenes.
Big Rules
1. Nothing is mandatory. Everything is consensual. Just say “stop” at any time.
2. Don’t start until the sub describes personal limits, the dom describes what’s going to happen, and the sub gives permission to begin.
3. Don’t touch anyone, even for a hug, without asking permission.
4. Nudity, sex, real spanking, and bondage are banned. We must insist that you do not violate this rule. We cannot risk making the hotel mad. If you want more, get a room. :)
5. Be chill. Pushy and dramatic people who make others uncomfortable will be ejected.
